Snow clearing update - January 22, 2026

On January 21 there was a snow event in Oakville. 

Snow clearing status:

• Primary and secondary road clearing and salting - Complete
• BIA sidewalk maintenance - Complete
• Transit Terminal and Ride on Demand Hub maintenance - Complete
• Speers Road bike lane maintenance - Complete
• Primary and secondary sidewalk clearing and salting -  Complete

Residential roads are started only after the snow has stopped, and there is a minimum accumulation of 7.5 centimetres. It may take up to 24 hours after the snow has stopped to clear all residential roads following a significant snow event.
