Town of Oakville Significant Weather Declaration beginning January 25, 2026
The Town of Oakville has declared a Significant Weather Event that started at 12 p.m. (noon) on January 25, 2026 and will continue until further notice.
The Town has declared a Significant Weather Event due to heavy snow expected throughout the day on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
This declaration suspends our standard timelines for winter maintenance activities due to the large amount of snow. Under normal conditions, plowing of all streets is completed within 24 hours after snowfall ends; however, these timelines will be extended during the Significant Weather Event.
