Snow clearing update - March 13, 2026

Oakville experienced a light snowfall on Friday, March 13.

• Salting and plowing of primary and secondary roads is underway.
• BIA sidewalk clearing is underway.
• Speers Road bike lanes have been cleared.

While it snows, we continuously plow primary and secondary roads.

Residential roads are started only after the snow has stopped, and there is a minimum accumulation of 7.5 centimetres. It may take up to 24 hours after the snow has stopped to clear all residential roads following a significant snow event.
