Movies in the Park

Bring a picnic blanket, your favourite snacks and join the fun at free outdoor movie experiences in Town parks starting in August.

Movies in the Park return this August!

Entry and family-friendly activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with the movie beginning at dusk.

Come early to ensure you get a good spot to watch the main feature, have a chance to connect with friends and neighbours, and take part in Oakville Public Library activities.

Weather

In the event of unpleasant weather, like rain and thunderstorms, Movies in the Park may be moved to an indoor location listed below. Follow the town on X, Instagram or Facebook for updates.

  • Thursday, August 6: Bloomfield Park 
  • Wednesday, August 12: Munn's Creek Park 
  • Thursday, August 13: Fowley Park 
  • Wednesday, August 19: Forster Park 
  • Thursday, August 20: Westbrook Park 
  • Wednesday, August 26: Valleybrook Park

Parking

Parking is limited at some of the park locations so please plan ahead. The town encourages residents to walk or bike to the movie screening in your area or take Oakville Transit.
