What do you do when you live in a vibrant, inclusive community?
You strive to make it even better.
In 2024 that’s exactly what we did, with direction from Council and in partnership with thousands of people across Oakville. Together, we made notable advancements on each of our four strategic priorities: Growth Management, Community Belonging, Environmental Sustainability, and Accountable Government.
We’re pleased to see our efforts resonate: our latest Community Satisfaction Survey results show that 89 per cent of residents are satisfied with town programs and services and 92 per cent reported a positive customer service experience with the town. These are great results – but in the spirit of continuous improvement, we know we can always do better.
Moving forward, we will remain focused on our priorities and invest in infrastructure, services, the environment, and one another. And we’ll stay agile and responsive to change as the world evolves around us, whether due to projected growth, climate changes, housing affordability, or any other challenge that comes our way.
We’ll also remain committed to hearing from our residents, and over the coming year, we will continue to seek your input, ideas and perspectives on the issues and decisions that affect us all.
I am proud and grateful each day to work alongside such a fantastic team in service to the Oakville community. I look forward to all that we will accomplish, together.
