Notice of refusal for a proposed zoning by-law amendment at 550 Kerr Street for Oakville Developments (2010) Inc.

Council has made a decision to refuse the application for a zoning by-law amendment submitted by Oakville Developments (2010) Inc. under section 34, of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended on July 6, 2020.

The purpose of this application is to rezone the subject lands from H1-MU3 to a site specific MU4 zone.

Council has determined that this proposal would not be consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement, would not conform to the Growth Plan, would not conform to the Halton Plan or the Livable Oakville Plan for the reasons provided by Town Staff in their report dated June 24, 2020.

Council has considered all written and oral submissions and those comments have been appropriately addressed.

Any appeals to the proposed zoning by-law amendment must be filed with the Town Clerk at 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON, L6H 0H3; must set out the reasons for the appeal; and must be accompanied with a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $300.00 payable to the Minister of Finance.  

The decision of Council is final if a notice of appeal is not received before or on the last day to appeal.
