A Cold Warning has been issued by Halton Region Public Health starting February 24, 2026. Exposure to cold weather can increase your risk of cold-related injuries, including frostbite and hypothermia.

Flags will be flown at half-mast at town facilities on March 24, 2021, to mark the one-year anniversary of the town’s declaration of a state of emergency due to COVID-19 and to commemorate the 59 residents who have passed away since.
