On March 25, 2024, Town Council received an update on the 2023-2026 Council Strategic Action Plan.

The 2023-2026 Council Strategic Action Plan Update outlines when the town’s key initiatives are anticipated to be complete with timeframes that create accountability, common goals and help prioritize initiatives during annual budget preparation.

The Action Plan is a roadmap that helps guide Council’s decision making during their term of office from 2023 through to 2026. Council and town staff have made a commitment to serve the community in a responsible, inclusive way, dedicated to building economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Actions on specific initiatives have been identified under four strategic priorities:
  • Growth management
  • Community belonging
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Accountability
A Key Community Indicator dashboard will be available on oakville.ca in the coming weeks to share the town’s progress in achieving the community’s shared goals and priorities.

Updates on the Action Plan will be provided annually to Council. To learn more, visit the Council’s Strategic Plan page.
