The Town of Oakville’s annual Santa Claus Parade is back for its 77th year!
Join Santa and friends on Saturday, November 15 at 9 a.m. in downtown Oakville for a morning of holiday cheer, featuring colourful floats, spirited marching bands, and a joyful mix of community groups.
This year’s parade theme, Snow Much Fun, celebrates the magic of winter recreation, including skating, sledding, snowball fights, and all the snowy adventures that make the season shine. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favourite holiday attire and enjoy a celebration suitable for all ages.
Colouring Contest – Become the Honourary Grand Marshal!
Young artists of all ages are invited to enter the 2025 colouring contest for a chance to win prizes during the Oakville Santa Claus Parade, and one lucky winner* will ride with Mrs. Claus as the Honourary Grand Marshal! Download the colouring sheet (pdf), created by professional artist and muralist Yasaman Mehrsa, or pick one up at any Town of Oakville community centre or Oakville Public Library branch. Submit a scanned copy or photo of your completed entry by email to events@oakville.ca. The contest closes on November 3, 2025, at 4 p.m.
Mehrsa is an accomplished muralist who collaborated with Oakville youth to create an indoor public art mural at River Oaks Community Centre, unveiled during National Youth Week in May 2025.

To make your parade morning easier, Oakville Transit is offering a free Santa Shuttle from Oakville GO Station to Trafalgar Park Community Centre.
The shuttle will run every 5 to 10 minutes between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., travelling along Dorval Drive with no stops along the route.
