Adjustment to school crossing guard schedule on June 23, 2025, due to extreme temperatures

Please be aware that due to extreme heat forecasted for tomorrow, June 23, 2025, all crossing guards in Oakville will be called off duty for school lunch and dismissal shifts. 

Morning shifts will not be affected by extreme temperatures and our crossing guards will be on duty in the morning of June 23, 2025.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

These measures align with the Town of Oakville’s Inclement Weather Procedure for crossing guards.
