Canada Post mail service to and from the Town of Oakville will be interrupted due to the postal strike. For time-sensitive town-related documents, there is mail slot outside of Town Hall and, for pre-arranged pick ups and drop offs, there is a table at ServiceOakville inside Town Hall.

Two road closures coming to Oak Walk Drive in October 2025

There will be two road closures on Oak Walk Drive between Trafalgar Road and Taunton Road to facilitate construction activities for Halton Region’s Trafalgar Road improvements between Hays Boulevard and Dundas Street.

Closure 1: Starting on Thursday, October 2 to Friday, October 3, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily.
Closure 2: Starting on Monday, October 13, 2025 to Friday, December 19, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The detour routes will be along Trafalgar Road and Hays Boulevard and Taunton Road and Dundas Street East. Local access will be maintained.
