Share your perspectives on the Town's 2027-2031 Cultural Plan
The Town of Oakville is updating its Cultural Plan for 2027-2031 and wants to hear from people who live, work, learn, create, and connect in Oakville.
In partnership with STEPS Public Art, the Town is developing a renewed plan that establishes a vision for Oakville’s cultural future and identifies actions to strengthen arts, culture, heritage, creativity, and community connections over the next five years.
Complete the online survey
The Town is inviting feedback through its Cultural Plan Survey, now online until August 31. Community input will directly inform plans and priorities for the growth and evolution of Oakville’s cultural scene. The survey takes 10 minutes or less to complete and is chance to tell us how you engage with arts and culture in Oakville, what you value most, and what opportunities you would like to see in the future.
Join our in-person memory mapping workshop
Community members looking to share more in-depth perspectives can register online for a free in-person memory mapping workshop, taking place on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC) from 4 to 6 p.m.
This two-hour hands-on workshop will explore the places, spaces, experiences, and cultural assets that shape our collective memories of Oakville. Participants will have the opportunity to share stories, map meaningful places, and identify opportunities for future cultural development.
Connect with us in the community
Residents can also connect with us this July and August at community events in Oakville. Join us for interactive activities designed to gather perspectives on Oakville’s cultural future in fun and creative ways. Look for us at Oakville’s Canada Day celebration and other events, including Summer Splash, Movies in the Park, and farmers’ markets, with more to come.
