Help shape the future of older adult services in Oakville

Adults aged 50+ invited to share their experiences and priorities

The Town of Oakville is developing its 2027-2037 Older Adult Plan in partnership with Urban Metrics, and wants to hear from you.

As Oakville’s older adult population continues to grow, the plan will establish a vision for Seniors Services that responds to changing needs and interests, and supports inclusion, participation, wellbeing, and community connection.

Share your input

Complete the Older Adult Plan Survey by Friday, October 30 to share your experiences, needs and priorities for staying active, healthy and engaged in the community. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and gathers details on:

• how you stay active, social and connected in Oakville
• the programs and activities you participate in
• your experience with Town recreation programs, memberships and facilities
• the programs, activities and amenities you would like to see in the future
• how you prefer to receive information about Town programs and services
• your priorities for the Town’s new Older Adult Plan

In addition to the online survey, you can pick up, complete and return a paper copy of the survey at the front desk of any Town community centre or older adults centre. 

Whether you live, work, volunteer, learn, or connect in Oakville, we want to hear from you. Your feedback will help the Town better understand what is working well, where there may be barriers or gaps, and how older adult services can continue to evolve to meet the needs of Oakville’s community.
