Older adults and their families invited to Oakville’s Seniors Services Open House on September 15, 2026

Tuesday, September 01, 2026

Discover new ways to stay active, connected and engaged at Oakville’s Seniors Services Open House on Tuesday, September 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex (3070 Neyagawa Blvd.). Older adults and their families are invited to explore the Town’s seniors programs, services, and activities, and meet staff and volunteers.

The Open House is an opportunity to learn about the Town’s six seniors centres and the wide range of programs, services, special events, and drop in activities designed to support active living, social connection, and community engagement. Attendees can connect with staff and volunteers from all locations, ask questions, and find the centre that best matches their interests and needs.

This year’s event also celebrates the opening of Oakville’s newest Older Adult Centre at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex. Visitors can tour the new space, take part in “Try It” sessions, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with others in the community.
