Community events, webinars and contests encourage residents to get cycling
The Town of Oakville is encouraging residents to get moving, explore their community and celebrate cycling during Bike Month this June.
As part the Smart Commute program, Oakville’s Bike Month campaign highlights cycling as a healthy, affordable and environmentally friendly way to travel, while helping residents discover helpful resources and cycling infrastructure in their community.
This year’s campaign features a full month of community events, educational webinars, contests and outreach activities designed to encourage residents of all ages and experience levels to get riding.
Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just getting started, there are plenty of ways to participate.
