What was passed?
Council for the Town of Oakville approved By-law 2026-009 to adopt Official Plan Amendment 075 and Zoning By-law Amendment 2026-010 under sections 17(23) and 34(18) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.
The purpose of the official plan and zoning by-law amendment is to redesignate, and rezone the lands to community use, and change the site-specific exception policies applying to the lands to permit the dedication of a multi-use pathway in lieu of the extension of Baronwood Drive, allow for surface parking in front and between buildings, and modify landscape buffers, setbacks, and building height.
