What is proposed?
The purpose of the application is to develop the site into a mixed-use, transit-supportive community.
The effect of the application will enable the development of 12 blocks over 7 phases, 14,475 square metres of commercial space 27 buildings ranging from 3-30 storeys including 10 towers ranging from 18-30 storeys, 6,420 residential units, 7,703 parking spaces and 2,052 bicycles spaces, a new public street network and 0.5 hectares of public open space.

You are not required to participate. However, only those persons and public bodies that submit comments or speak at the public meeting may be allowed to appeal the decision of Town Council on this proposal.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal, but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town Clerk before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, zoning by-law amendment is passed and draft plan of subdivision is approved, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. Persons who may otherwise have an ability to appeal an adoption of an official plan amendment or passing of a zoning by-law amendment are limited to persons listed in subsections 17(24) and 34(19) of the Planning Act, respectively.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submission to Town of Oakville Council before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, zoning by-law amendment is passed and draft plan of subdivision is approved, the person or public body may not be added as a part to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
