Notice of pesticide use to control weeds in 2026

The Town intends to control weeds in medians, boulevards and shrub beds along the following roadsides and parks within the Town of Oakville:

• Church Street  
• Cornwall Road  
• Dorval Drive  
• Dundas Street  
• Dunn Street  
• East Street  
• Eighth Line  
• George Street  
• Glenashton Drive  
• John Street  
• Jones Street  
• Kerr Street  
• Kingsway Drive  
• Lakeshore Road  
• Marine Drive  
• Navy Street  
• Nelson Street  
• Neyagawa Boulevard  
• Randall Street  
• Rebecca Street  
• Reynolds Street  
• Robinson Street  
• Third Line  
• Thomas Street  
• Trafalgar Road  
• Upper Middle Road

Using the following pesticide registered under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada): Finalsan Pro Commercial Concentrate (Reg. No. 30012), containing the active ingredient ammonium soap of fatty acids. 

Applications will occur on an as-needed basis commencing on May 4, 2026, weather permitting, and ending October 2, 2026.
