Town Hall lighting requests for May 2026

The exterior of Town Hall has multi-colour capable LED lights that can be used to display the official colours associated with a charitable or non-profit organization or a town event, in order to create awareness of or celebrate an organization or town event. 

When there are no recognition events scheduled, the default lighting is set to Oakville blue.

Recognition events for May 2026:

  • May 1 to 3: Blue for Doctor's Day
  • May 4: Red and yellow for Bladder Cancer Awareness
  • May 8-10: Red for International Thalassemia Day
  • May 12: Yellow and green for Chemical Sensitivity Day
  • May 13: Purple for Fibromyalgia Association Canada
  • May 14: Purple for Canadian MPS Society
  • May 15-18: Purple for Global Porphyria Day
  • May 19: Teal for Food Allergy Awareness
  • May 22: Blue for World Drowning Day
  • May 28: Red for Menstrual Health Day
