Town Hall lighting requests for September 2026

The exterior of Town Hall has multi-colour capable LED lights that can be used to display the official colours associated with a charitable or non-profit organization or a town event, in order to create awareness of or celebrate an organization or town event. 

When there are no recognition events scheduled, the default lighting is set to Oakville blue.

Recognition events for September 2026:

• September 1: Gold for Make Canada Gold
• September 9: Red for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder Awareness Day
• September 11-13: Fuschsia for World Sepsis Day
• September 14: Blue for Prostate Cancer Awareness
• September 15: Blue for Histiocytosis Awareness
• September 18-20: Green for Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Month
• September 23: Blue for International Day of Sign Languages
• September 28-30: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
