Road closure on Rebecca Street, between Third Line and Fourth Line, beginning July 2, 2026, for wastewater main work

Closure required at part of Halton Region’s Basement Flooding Mitigation Program Part C

Starting July 2, 2026, Rebecca Street, between Third Line and Fourth Line, will be closed and expected to reopen August 14, 2026. This closure is required as Halton Region continues to make improvements to the municipal wastewater mains and laterals on various streets.

During this time, through traffic will be detoured via Third Line, Speers Road, and Fourth Line. Residents located within the road closure area will retain access to their driveway; however, driveway access may be temporarily restricted for short periods of time when the work is occurring directly in front of the driveway. Halton Region project staff will coordinate directly with the affected residents in advance of any temporary driveway access restrictions, and every effort will be made to keep any impacts brief. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the closure.

Oakville Transit Route 14/14A will also be on detour as a result of this road closure.
