Road closures for Oakville Half Marathon on Sunday, October 4, 2026

The following roadways and laneways will be closed temporarily for the Oakville Half Marathon on Sunday, October 4, 2026:

Road closures

• Lakeshore Road West from Great Lakes Blvd. to Bronte Road, 6 to 11 a.m.
• Bronte Road from Lakeshore Road West to Ontario Street, 6 to 11 a.m.
• Lakeshore Road West from Third Line to Dorval Drive, 6 to 11 a.m.
• Old Lakeshore Road, 6 to 11 a.m.

Lane closures

• Ontario Street eastbound from Bronte Road to East Street, 6 to 11 a.m.
• East Street northbound from Marine Drive to Ontario Street, 6 to 11 a.m.

Local access through this area will not be maintained within the closure limits.

Emergency lanes

• Great Lakes Blvd. to Mississaga Street, eastbound lane; 
• from Mississaga Street to Bronte Road, westbound lane; 
• from Third Line to Dorval Drive, westbound lane.

Detours

The following roadways will be designated as the primary detour route during the closure period:

• Third Line
• Rebecca Street
• Great Lakes Boulevard
