Road closures for Downtown Oakville BIA Light Up the Night event on November 20, 2026

The following roadways will be closed temporarily for the Downtown Oakville BIA’s Light Up the Night special event:

• Lakeshore Road East between Thomas Street and Dunn Street.
• George Street between Church Street and Lakeshore Road East.

Local access through this area will not be maintained within the closure limits.

The following roadways will be designated as the primary detour route during the closure period: 

• Thomas Street
• Church Street 
• Dunn Street

The closure will be in effect on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 1-11 p.m.
