The Town of Oakville is initiating design works along Munn’s Creek as identified in the Munn’s Creek Erosion Mitigation Environmental Assessment (EA) Study to address long-standing erosion issues along an approximately 150-metre stretch of creek bank between 1528 and 1498 Elm Road.

Project scope
The Munn’s Creek Encroachment Restoration Project is part of a broader initiative identified through the Munn’s Creek Erosion Mitigation Environmental Assessment (EA), which highlighted eight priority erosion sites.
The detailed design will address long-standing erosion and floodplain restoration with native vegetation. The goal is to create a stable, low-maintenance creek corridor that protects nearby infrastructure, and supports ecological health.
