The Town of Oakville is undertaking temporary repairs to stabilize sections of the streambank along Sixteen Mile Creek in Hogs Back Park, near the Speers Road/Cross Avenue intersection.
The work aims to address erosion and the failure of aging gabion baskets that currently protect the creek banks.
The project will focus on three priority sites where erosion poses a risk to nearby infrastructure.
