Enter the upcoming taxicab owner licence lottery starting Tuesday, August 8

Interested in an Oakville taxicab owner business licence?

If you are interested in a taxicab owner licence for the Town of Oakville, submit an online entry to the upcoming taxicab owner licence lottery. Online entries will be accepted starting Tuesday, August 8 and closes on September 5, 2023.  The online application is available by visiting the Taxi Licence page.   
 

Eligibility and requirements 

To be eligible for the lottery, the entrant must:  

1. be at least 18 years of age 
2. complete the online entry form by visiting the Taxi Licence page  
3. pay the $396 non-refundable taxi lottery fee  
4. have a valid and on-air if the entrant holds a taxicab licence 

Taxicab licence lottery takes place on September 20 

Watch the town’s live stream of the random draw will take place online on the Town of Oakville’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.
