Bronte Pool's summer 2025 opening delayed

During pre-opening work to prepare Bronte Pool for the summer season, an unexpected issue was identified involving groundwater entering through a crack in the foundation. To support the long-term use of the pool, a new liner is being professionally installed.

The work is expected to be completed by June 27. Following this, staff will require time to fill and balance the water and complete public health inspections. The anticipated public opening date is July 5, 2025.

All other outdoor pool openings remain on schedule:

• Falgarwood Pool opened May 21
• Lions Pool opened June 1
• Brookdale and Wedgewood pools will open Saturday, June 14
