Local business owners and entrepreneurs invited to help shape future business supports and economic development priorities
The Town of Oakville is launching its first Business Conditions Survey, providing business owners and operators with a chance to share valuable insights on the opportunities and challenges shaping Oakville's business community.
Open until September 30, the survey will help the Town's Economic Development department (Invest Oakville) better understand local business conditions, identify emerging trends, and inform future programs and services that support business success.
Local business owners can share their input and perspectives until September 30, 2026.
Your insights matter
Businesses of all sizes and sectors are encouraged to participate. Whether you operate in professional services, advanced manufacturing, health and life sciences, digital media, retail, hospitality, or entrepreneurial venture, your feedback will help strengthen insight into Oakville's business environment and support informed decision-making for the future.
The approximately 15-minute survey includes questions about current business conditions, staffing, growth plans, investment, import and export activity, business challenges and municipal services.
The Business Conditions Survey helps to advance the Town’s 2025-2029 Economic Development Plan, which focuses on retaining, supporting and growing Oakville's business community while fostering a resilient and competitive local economy. The survey is part of Invest Oakville’s Business Retention and Expansion program, Branches to Business, which launched in October 2025 to strengthen relationships with local companies and help them access the resources they need to grow.
Residents and business owners can look forward to a summary of key survey findings in Invest Oakville’s 2027 Economic Development Annual Report.
