Join the Town of Oakville for free Movies in the Park starting August 5

Grab a blanket, pack your favourite snacks, and enjoy a movie under the stars this summer! The Town's Movies in the Park series returns from August 5 to 26, bringing free, family-friendly outdoor movie nights to parks across Oakville. Residents are invited to gather with friends, neighbours and family for an evening of entertainment, fresh air and summer fun.

Entry begins at 6:30 p.m., with movies starting at 8 p.m. Arrive early to claim a comfortable spot with a great view, connect with your community, visit the Oakville Public Library's Library on the Go book bike and participate in other family-friendly activities before the show begins.

• Wednesday, August 5: Finding Nemo (Clearview Park, 2900 Kingsway Drive)
• Thursday, August 6: Ratatouille (Bloomfield Park, 2531 Westoak Trails Boulevard) 
• Wednesday, August 12: Up (Munn’s Creek Park, 153 River Oaks Boulevard West) 
• Thursday, August 13: Big Hero 6 (Fowley Park, 106 Fowley Drive)
• Wednesday, August 19: Flow (Forster Park, 100 North Forster Park Drive)
• Thursday, August 20: Zootopia (Westbrook Park, 297 Chalmers Street)
• Wednesday August 26: Coco (Valleybrook Park, 1150 Valleybrook Drive)

What to bring

• Picnic blanket or lawn chairs
• Snacks and refreshments 
• Sunscreen and bug spray

Complimentary popcorn will be available at each screening while supplies last, generously provided by Steve Kofi-Akuffo Group.

Inclement weather

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, Movies in the Park may be moved to an indoor location. Weather related updates and indoor locations will be posted on the Movies in the Park webpage. Residents are also encouraged to follow the Town on X, Instagram, Facebook or Bluesky for the latest updates.

Parking

Parking may be limited at some locations. Residents are encouraged to walk, cycle or take Oakville Transit to screenings in their neighbourhood whenever possible.
