What is proposed?
An Official Plan Amendment to enable the Town to implement Inclusionary Zoning within Protected Major Transit Station Areas.
The proposed Official Plan Amendment will add policies to the Livable Oakville Plan that enables the Town to implement Inclusionary Zoning within Protected Major Transit Station Areas (PMTSAs) (such as Midtown Oakville and the Bronte GO growth areas) identified in the Official Plan.

The personal information accompanying your submission is being collected under the Planning Act and may form part of the public record which may be released to the public.

Legal notice
Pursuant the Planning Act, section 17 (24.1.3) only the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing may appeal the decision of Town Council in respect of official plan policies that authorize inclusionary zoning.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal, but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town Clerk before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submission to Town of Oakville Council before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a part to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
