The 15-minute grace period for all drop-in programs will be removed effective October 1.
This change builds on the May 2025 pilot, which removed the grace period for several high demand programs and helped reduce wait times, improve access, and make better use of available space.
This update supports a smoother, more consistent experience across all drop in programs. Arriving and checking in before the scheduled start time helps participants get the most from their activity and allows programs to begin efficiently.
What participants need to know:
- Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to check in.
- Pre-registered participants in line before or at start time will be admitted first.
- Walk-ins will be admitted as space allows.
- Spots cannot be held by calls, messages, or friends.
Arrive early
Reserving a spot is recommended for those planning to attend at the program’s start time. If you expect to arrive later, walk in admission may be available as long as the program is not at capacity.
If a reserved spot has already been offered to someone waiting and the program is full, you will not be able to join. You may wait for space to open, but refunds will not be provided
Waitlists
You can be added to the waitlist for a program that is full if the option is available. If a spot opens for that activity or additional sessions are added in advance, you will be contacted by email. If you do not respond within 48 hours, your spot will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
