The Town of Oakville Council endorsed the Parks Plan 2031 and passed Parkland Dedication By-law 2022-108 on September 12, 2022. By-law 2022-108 establishes various types of parks the town will provide, and the amount of parkland (or payment-in-lieu) the town will require developers to provide for future parks.

By-law 2022-108 came into effect on September 13, 2022.

Any person or organization may appeal this by-law to the Ontario Land Tribunal under Section 42(4.9) of the Planning Act by filing a notice of appeal, setting out the objection to the by-law and reasons supporting the objection, with the Town Clerk at TownClerk@oakville.ca or 905-815-6015, no later than October 24, 2022. A copy of the appeal form is available from the Ontario Land Tribunal, to be accompanied with a certified cheque or money order payable to the Minister of Finance.

The Parkland Dedication By-law 2022-108 applies to all lands within the Town of Oakville and as such a key map is not provided for the purpose of this notice.
