Weddings in Town Parks

Wedding permits are available for select parks in Oakville.

Outdoor wedding ceremony permits are available for the 2023 season at the following locations:

  • The Butterfly Gazebo at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park
  • Nottinghill Park

Both locations are appropriate for smaller, intimate wedding ceremonies. At this time, the town does not permit outdoor wedding receptions in our parks.

Outdoor wedding ceremonies are permitted for two-hour time slots, which include set up time, the ceremony, wedding photography, and clean up.

Town staff do not officiate weddings in town parks.

To request a permit for a wedding ceremony, please complete and submit a Special Event Application

  • Requests for Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park will be accepted no earlier than 90 days in advance and are subject to availability.
  • Requests for Nottinghill Park will be accepted at any time within the current calendar year and are subject to availability.

Anyone interested in booking a town park location for their wedding should visit and familiarize themselves with the location prior to submitting a booking request.
