Town of Oakville 2025-2026 holiday season closures and adjusted service schedules

The Town of Oakville wishes the community a happy and safe holiday season. The Town’s administrative offices will be closed starting at noon on December 24, 2025, and will reopen on January 2, 2026. During this time, many of the Town’s facilities and services will also run on a holiday schedule. 

A full list of the adjusted Town facility and service hours of operation can be found on the News & Notices page. The list includes information about: 

• Recreation facilities, including all community centres, pools, arenas, and seniors centres 
• Oakville Public Library branches 
• Harbour offices 
• Cemetery offices 
• Outdoor ice rinks 
• Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts
• Oakville Museum 
• Oakville Transit office, service, and schedules 
• Oakville Fire 
• Central Operations office 

While our offices are closed, residents can access our self-serve online services to register for programs, check an application status, or report concerns such as illegal parking, noise, or winter maintenance issues. 

For urgent safety related issues, please call our after-hours service at 905-845-6601. Examples include road hazards, traffic light or sign problems, fallen branches, or damaged park equipment.
