The Town of Oakville has successfully completed rehabilitation work on the Royal Windsor Drive Bridge as of September 2025. This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair and continues to serve the community safely and reliably.
Location
The Royal Windsor Drive bridge is located 400 metres west of the Royal Windsor Drive and Ford Drive intersection and spans over the Lakeshore West rail corridor.
Scope of work
The scope of work included:
- Structural steel repair
- Concrete repair
- Asphalt repairs
- Guide rail replacement
Funding acknowledgement
This project received funding from the Government of Ontario through the Building Faster Fund. This fund provides financial support to municipalities for housing-enabling infrastructure and associated costs to support community growth.
