We're improving drainage near 79 Brookfield Road.

Brookfield Road will undergo stormwater management improvements to address drainage issues near 79 Brookfield Road. The planned design is anticipated to include green infrastructure enhancements, such as underground storage and infiltration systems.

Project status

Detailed design work is currently underway. 

Expected project timeline

  • Detailed design completion – Summer 2025
  • Tender works – Late summer 2025
  • Construction begins – Fall 2025 (subject to weather)

Thank you for attending the public information centre on June 24, 2025!

A public information centre (PIC)was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Trafalgar Park Community Centre.

Town staff presented detailed information about the project, including the purpose of the drainage design improvements, anticipated construction impacts, and the planned green infrastructure features to support more sustainable stormwater management.
