Kerr Village Parking Map (Lots 12 & 17)

Parking at Bronte Harbour is available with access just west of Bronte Road. Green P signs are posted to direct visitors to the parking area. Parking is at no charge and will be available until September 15.

Monthly parking

Ontario Street (south side between Jones and East Streets) is available for monthly permit parking only - $39.55

Overnight parking is available at most municipal lots. 

6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

• Free to park at downtown municipal parking lots.

2 a.m. to 6 a.m.

• A one-night pass is available for purchase on HonkMobile.
• A 30-night pass through the town’s online services.

Overnight paid parking permits in select downtown lots does not permit daytime parking. 

If parking is required during the day please visit HonkMobile to make payment for up to the permitted daily time limit.

There are several locations for monthly permit parking in the Downtown Oakville, Kerr Village and Bronte Village districts. 

Many locations have a waiting list, with varying wait times.

Zone information is found on the nearby parking metres, signs or the app.

Pay with the HonkMobile app

1. Download the HonkMobile app.
2. Set up an account including your vehicle and payment information.
3. Choose the "zone" or location to park. 
4. Choose time needed to park. (You can also use the app to extend your parking time, up to the location's maximum.)
5. You're finished! When you pay with the HonkMobile app, there is no printed payment stub to display on your car's dash

Pay with Honk Text-to-Pay

1. Find the parking zone information: Look for the zone ID signs in the parking lot. 
2. Initiate a text message: Start a new text message on your smartphone. 
3. Enter the correct phone number: In the "To" field, enter 75498 as provided on the sign.
4. Text the zone ID: In the body of the text message, type the zone ID you found in step 1. Please note, regular text messaging rates from your cellphone provider may apply.
5. Complete the payment: You will receive a text message back with a link to a mobile website. Click the link to enter your license plate information, select your desired parking duration, and complete your payment. 

Exclusions

Quick stop meters (20 minutes for $.50) are not available for use with HonkMobile

At paid municipal lots and garages with pay-by-plate parking meters, you can pay for parking with your credit card, cash or mobile phone.

You will recognize these meters by their electronic display screen and the solar panels on the top of the machine.

Pay with a credit card

1. Insert your credit card and choose the time needed to park.
2. Accepted payment cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discovery.
3. Display the printed payment stub on your car's dash.

Pay with cash

1. Insert coins to purchase time needed to park.
2. All coins are accepted.
3. Display the printed payment stub on your car's dash.

If you find an issue with making payment at the parking meter or machine please contact us by:

• calling 905-845-6601 during business hours between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• sending email to parking@oakville.ca after business hours.

The following information will be required for the report:

• location of the parking meter or pay and display/pay by plate machine.
• the meter number listed on the parking meter.
• the number listed on the pay and display/pay by plate machine.
