Access to Martindale Park through a section of Parklane Road is temporarily closed due to the Martindale Park Culvert Replacement Project.
Construction is scheduled to begin on November 27, 2025.
The Town will be replacing the interim culvert with a permanent culvert, as well as performing trail rehabilitation and planting restoration (in spring 2026), as part of the project.
Project area
To mitigate and avoid negative impacts to the fish and fish habitat, this work is being completed outside of critical fish spawning periods, following the regulations of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, as well as Conservation Halton.
To keep our residents safe, the construction area will be fenced off.
The trail is scheduled to reopen in spring 2026.
To access the park, please use the trail entrances off Parklane Road, just east of Martindale Avenue, along Martindale Avenue, or near Sheridan College, as alternatives.
