The Town of Oakville values transparency, accountability, honesty and respect. The Ethics and Efficiency Hotline provides the public and town employees with a channel to share concerns or recommendations about town procedures and practices — strengthening our commitment to these values.

This hotline provides you with a convenient and confidential way to:

  1. Report suspected cases of waste, dishonest activity or fraud, such as:
    • Unauthorized use of town property
    • Misuse of town property, equipment, materials, records or time
    • Misuse of town-owned hardware and software
    • Forgery
    • Misappropriation of funds (theft)
    • Irregularities in the handling of money
    • Seeking or accepting anything of material value
  2. Provide specific recommendations to make areas more efficient or effective.
