Members of Council community outreach and professional development expenses

As part of Oakville’s commitment to accountability and transparency, each Member of Council’s Community Outreach and Professional Development (COPD) expenses will be posted quarterly online.

Each Member of Council’s discretionary COPD expense account has an annual limit of $9,000. The Mayor's discretionary COPD expense account has an annual limit of $33,700. 

The quarterly financial reports include COPD expenses for newsletters, education/training, participation in community events, ward business, sponsorship opportunities, and the purchase of corporate merchandise.
