Reservoir Park Redevelopment

Background

In partnership with the Region of Halton, the Town of Oakville is designing a new playground at Reservoir Park. The new playground will include play equipment, as well as accessible pathways and amenities. 

The design of Reservoir Park will be shaped through a collaborative public engagement process to ensure this new green space is vibrant, accessible, and reflective of the needs of the community.

Project timeline

The Reservoir Park development project will be completed in several phases. 

Timelines are tentative and subject to change:

• Public engagement (August to September 2026)
• Detailed design and project tender (August to September 2026)
• Tender process and awarding of tender (October to December 2026)
• Construction (April 2027 to October 2027)

Consultant/contractor

The Town of Oakville plans to tender the design and the construction of Reservoir Park. When the contracts are awarded, the names of the successful applicants will be published on this page.
