Tax Rebates and Assistance

Tax rebates, deferral and assistance programs are available to select demographics and charities from the Town of Oakville and Halton Region.

You may only take part in one of these programs. For more information, please contact finance@oakville.ca to consider if one of these programs may be right for you.

Senior/older adult rebate and tax deferral programs

Information and application about the 2024 senior’s property tax rebate program will be available July 2024.

Information about and the application for the 2024 older adult property tax deferral program will be available in May 2024.

Information about Halton Region's Older Adults Property Tax Deferral Program can be found on their website.

Information about and the application for the 2024 low-income seniors and low-income persons with disabilities year-over-year property tax increase deferral will be available in May 2024.

An annual tax rebate program for registered charitable organizations that rent space in commercial, industrial or multi-tenanted properties in Oakville.
