There are hundreds of parks to visit in the Town of Oakville.

Destination Parks
Many of the Town's destination parks provide a wonderful setting for special events. 
Splash Pads
Fun, outdoor facilities with water features to help cool off on a hot day.
Sports Fields
The Town operates sports fields and ball diamonds which are available for rent from spring until fall.
Dog Parks
Leash-free dog parks are fully fenced areas where owners can have up to two dogs off-leash at a time.
Gardens
We have four community gardens for residents who wish to rent gardening plots. There is currently a waitlist for garden plot rentals.

Our parks offer a variety of outdoor court options and locations to help you stay active and have fun!
Outdoor Ice Rinks

Outdoor ice rinks usually operate mid-December to March, weather permitting.

Park hours

All parks are open for public use from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Hours are subject to change due to maintenance.

Report a problem

Report overflowing park bins, garbage on splash pads, missed residential garbage pickup and roadside dumping.

Fires, barbeques and electricity in parks

Fires and personal BBQs are not permitted in town parks. Electricity hookup is not available. Learn more about the Parks By-law.

Picnics must be held within designated areas. Permits are required for picnics attended by 25 or more people. Book a picnic site.

Parks Operations

The Park Operations team is responsible for municipal parks, open spaces, trails, flower beds, cemeteries and harbours. 

They provide operational, maintenance, management and stewardship services, to enhance the quality of life and environment for our residents and visitors.
